1. What is the cost of memoryfund?

There is no initial or monthly fee for a memorypage.  Memoryfund charges a 7.99% transaction fee to for any donation.  If there are no transactions, there are no fees. This transaction fee is consistent with fees charges by other donation sites.  We hope that providing a simple, uncomplicated way to donate, the recipient of your choosing will receive more funds on behalf of the departed.  The transaction fee covers the costs of:

Processing donations securely

Ensuring transfer of donations to the recipient

Customer Support for memorypage and transaction processing functionality

Hosting of the secure transaction functionality

2. Will there be advertisements on my memorypage?

No.  memoryfund will not display ads on memorypages.  At some time in the future, memoryfund may chose to display ads on other pages, but it is our intent and direction to keep memorypages ad free

3. How do I know my donation will be sent to the recipient?

We will email you a donation confirmation and will  email you the recipients’ contact info.  After the donation confirmation is sent, you can contact the recipient to verify receipt. 

4. How do I know my credit card information is secure?

Memoryfund does not store your credit card information.  We send the credit card information securely to our transaction processor at the time of the transaction.

6. Why the name memoryfund?

We want to help people leave a lasting memories of generosity and principles.

7. What if I don’t have all the donation information?

Memoryfund only requires a correct name to whom the funds are to be donated and a mailing address. 

8. How do I reset my password?

You can reset your password by signing into Memoryfund with your account information (email & password) . After successful login, you can enter a new password and hit the Update Profile button on the My Account page.

9. How do I delete my memorypage?

You can delete your memorypage by signing into Memoryfund with your account information(email & password). After successful login, you can delete your memorypage by clicking the Delete button next to the specific memorypage.

10. How long will my memorypage be posted?

Your memorypage will be posted to Memoryfund.com until you delete your page from the site.

11. How do I receive a refund?

We do not offer any refunds at this time for donations made through Memoryfund.com

12. If my donation is sent to a charity, how do I receive a receipt?

To receive a receipt for your donation made through Memoryfund.com, please contact the charity directly.
